Treatment and Procedures Information

During the procedure in the practice, the Thermi RF ™ system is set to a specific target temperature depending on your aesthetic goals. After applying a small amount of gel, the ThermiSmooth ™ Face Handpiece is applied to the surface of the skin. It moves gently in a circular or sweeping manner while the surface of the skin is gradually warmed up. When the skin temperature rises to the desired temperature, the Thermi RF computer automatically adjusts the energy output to ensure heating accuracy.

Although multiple treatments may be required, most patients will see some results after the first treatment. The full results will develop over a period of 3 to 6 months.

The treatments are recommended to be repeated several times. The exact number of treatments will vary depending on the desired cosmetic result and skin condition. Usually three treatments with an interval of 3 weeks are required. Older or sun damaged skin will improve with four treatments. Patients should receive treatment every 46 months. Although patients can see immediate results, maximum results are gradually achieved 36 months after the last treatment.
